Our story began in 1996, when our father and chef founded Silver Platter Catering with a passion for exceptional food and creating memorable experiences. After a period of dormancy, our family was inspired to revive his original vision and carry it forward into a new chapter.

  • Darin Hufford

    EXECUTIVE CHEF

    Darin has over 30 years of experience in the culinary world and has earned a reputation as a master chef whose culinary creations have delighted even the most discerning palates, including those of Hollywood movie stars. His innovative entrée dishes are featured in restaurants across Hollywood and Beverly Hills.

    Darin enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Angie, and the five children. Whether cooking together or unwinding with a good movie, family is at the heart of everything he does.

  • Sidney Hufford

    EVENT MANAGER

    Sidney’s passion for food began at a young age, inspired by her dad, Darin, who taught her the art of cooking in their family kitchen. After graduating from college, Sidney and Darin joined forces to turn their shared love of culinary creations into a thriving catering business.

    In her free time, Sidney makes homemade sourdough bread and creamy goat cheese. She is also a self-taught pianist.

    SOUS CHEF & FRUIT SCULPTER

    Jude is a man with a creative soul and a passion for crafting mouthwatering food and elegant sculptures.

    In his free time, Jude enjoys fly fishing and lending a hand to those around him, always living life with purpose and heart.

  • Emma Hufford

    SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

    Emma has a natural eye for design and brings a creative touch to everything she does. She manages our social media and designed the website you’re visiting today. She keeps the team organized and helps bring their ideas to life behind the scenes.

    Outside of catering, Emma loves traveling, discovering new coffee spots, and enjoying her favorite music and podcasts along the way.

    DINING SERVICES COORDINATOR

    Eva uses her creative mind and quick thinking to help keep our services efficient and running smoothly.

    Outside of catering, Eva is adventurous and has a caring heart for animals and nature. She is always looking for new ways to spend time outdoors, whether traveling, hiking, camping, or helping rehabilitate animals.

  • Landin Hufford

    PHOTOGRAPHER

    Landin has spent the last five years honing her photography skills for capturing stunning images that tell a story. By day, she’s a dedicated first-grade teacher, inspiring young minds in the classroom.

    Outside of teaching, Landin enjoys immersing herself in dystopian novels, running, and rewatching her favorite movies.
